The Cyanotype is a process using light-sensitive chemicals to obtain a blue image under sunlight. This is a cameraless process. The process combines part A: Ferric Ammonium Citrate and Part B:Potassium Ferricyanide. John Herschel created the process in 1842. Engineers and doctors would use this process to copy notes and drawings to create "blueprints".
